Grubb Glacier

Grubb Glacier flows slowly north-eastwards into Lester Cove, which indents Andvord Bay. on the Danco Coast of Graham Land in the British Antarctic Territory.

This glacier was photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition, in 1956-57;. It is named in association with the names of pioneers of photography grouped in this area; after Thomas Grubb (1800-78), the optician who designed and introduced the first aplanatic camera lens in 1857.
