Grim's Ditch, midway between the villages of Upton and Netherton, in the north-west of Hampshire, is a short, ancient earthwork, now less than a mile long running west to east as far as the steep, wooded dry valley (Netherton Hanging Copse).

The earthwork is close the border of Wiltshire to the west and of Berkshire to the north. On the Berkshire border, on Walbury Hill, is a huge Iron Age hill fort crowning a long west-east ridge (and forming Hampshire's highest point). To the west, across into Wiltshire and in a line with the earthwork, is another hill fort, Fosbury. Whether Grim's Ditch ever stretched as far as Fosbury or at least the hill on which it stands, is unknown, and likewise it is not known if it was dug in conjunction with either hill fort.
