Gilmonby is a village in the Pennines, within the North Riding of Yorkshire.
The village is to be found a short distance south of Bowes, on the south bank of the River Greta, a tributary of the county's northern border river, the Tees. The nearest town is Barnard Castle, across the Tees in County Durham.
The population taken at the 2011 Census was less than 100, so information is kept recorded under the Parish of Bowes.
