Fulwell is a tiny hamlet on each side of the Great Ouse, which here divides Buckinghamshire on the north bank from Oxfordshire on the south, four miles west of Buckingham.
The old railway line west from Buckingham passed through and bridged the Great Ouse twice: today's hamlet is little more than the house on the Buckinghamshire side where the station stood and a farmstead on the Oxfordshire side of the bridge. Fulwell House is on the Oxfordshire bank.
