Forbes Point is the entrance point of Lester Cove, part of Andvord Bay on the Danco Coast of Graham Land in the British Antarctic Territory.
The point was roughly charted in 1913-14 by Ferguson, who applied the name 'Forbes Hill' to a spur of the plateau escarpment south of the point, possibly after J.D. Forbes (from whom the Forbes Glacier is named). It was named 'Forbes Point', referring to the present feature, following air photography by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in the 1956-57 season.
