Fawkham is a village and parish in the Axtane Hundred of Kent. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census is 578.[1] The main settlement in the parish is Fawkham Green, which is two miles south of Longfield and a mile from Brands Hatch motor racing circuit. The M20 motorway crosses the parish.
Fawkham is eight miles from Gravesend, the same distance from Dartford and 12 miles from Sevenoaks.
The 12th-century parish church is dedicated to St Mary and is a Grade-I listed building.[2] The ecclesiastical parish of Fawkham is part of the united benefice of Fawkham and Hartley.
Longfield railway station was called Fawkham Station until 1961.
