Duncrievie is a little village in Kinross-shire, in the Ochil Hills and within the parish of Arngask.
The village is in the very north of this little county, close by the border of Fife to the east and of Perthshire to the north. Glenfarg, through which the border between the latter two counties runs, is just three-quarters of a mile to the north. The county town, Kinross, is six miles to the south.
The village stands just above the valley through which the M90 motorway forces its way, though not too uncomfortably close. It is in fact on a former toll road linking Glenfarg with Milnathort to the south, now replaced as a route by the motorway and the B996, which runs alongside it.
Duncrievie House here is also known as ‘Duncrievie Cottage’.[1] There is little to the village, but it has a clutch of 18th-century cottages and farm buildings.
Nearby is the farm of Hilton of Duncrievie, to the north-west.
