Dickens Rocks
The Dickens Rocks rise to twenty-three feet above sea level north of the Pitt Islands, a group within the Biscoe Islands group in the British Antarctic Territory.
The rocks were photographed from the air by the Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition in 1956-57. While the islands of the Pitt Islands are named after characters in the Pickwick Papers, these rocks are named after the author of that book, Charles John Huffam Dickens (1812-70).
