Causeway End is a hamlet in Westmorland at the south end of Levens, which village runs into Causeway End. The hamlet is at the edge of the drained wetlands at the head of the Kent Estuary, between the final tidal reaches of the River Kent to the east and the River Gilpin to the west as they enter together the head of the estuary. The old, causewayed road across the marsh reaches dry ground here, giving the hamlet its name.
The parish church for Levens, St John the Evangelist, is at Causeway End, the two places being barely distinguishable.
