Capel Bangor is a small village in Cardiganshire, approximately five miles from the seaside and university town of Aberystwyth.
Facilities
The size of the village of Capel Bangor decreased during the 20th century, and facilities are limited. The current population is around 600. Accommodation (bed and breakfast) is available on one of the village's working farms, and there are two public houses, the Tynllidiart Arms, which also serves food and the Maes Bangor Arms. There is a railway station on the seasonal Vale of Rheidol Railway.
