Broughton Common is a hamlet in Lincolnshire, a mile and a half north-west of its parent village Broughton. Half a mile to the south is Wressle.
Broughton and its hamlets are in the north of Lindsey, on the flat plains that runs out to the Humber, barely separated by a strip of woodland from the coal workings and steelworks that mark the edge of Scunthorpe to the west.
