Bonthorpe is a hamlet in Lindsey, the northern part of Lincolnshire. It is a mile north-east of the village of Willoughby, within the Calcewath Wapentake of the South Riding of Lindsey.
The village appears in the Domesday Book of 1086, as Brunetorp.[1].
