Benbane Head

Benbane Head, or Benbane is a headland on the north coast of County Antrim. It is the northernmost point of this coastline and of the mainland part of the county, and accordingly the northernmost point of mainland Northern Ireland; only Rathlin Island, lying across the horizon to the north, is further north.
The headland is close to the Giant's Causeway, on the dramatic stretch of coastline known as the 'Causeway Coast'. The Causeway itself is between Causeway Head and Benbane Head.
The nearest villages are Bushmills and Portballintrae.
The name of the place is from the Gaelic language: an Bhinn Bhán means "The white headland".[1]
