The Scalloway Islands are a small group of islands and islets of Shetland, lying to the southwest of the Mainland,[1] opposite the old capital, Scalloway.
The Scalloway Islands include:
- Burra, itself consisting of two bridge-linked islands and a tidal isle:
- West Burra
- Kettla Ness (naturally connected to West Burra at low tide)
- East Burra
- Hildasay/Hildesay
- Linga (one of many of that name)
- Oxna
- Papa, connected at low tide to:
- South Havra
- Trondra (linked to Mainland, and Burra by bridge)
