View from the Loch Melfort Hotel

Loch Melfort is a sea-loch on the west-facing coast of mainland Argyll. The mouth of the loch is almost stoped by two islands of Argyllshire's share on the Inner HebridesLuing and Shuna.

At the mouth of the loch is a tiny fishing village, Craobh Haven, which has a good, sheltered harbour, a marina and the remais of fort on the island incorporated into the harbour mouth.

At the head of the loch is Melfort
