Loch Melfort is a sea-loch on the west-facing coast of mainland Argyll. The mouth of the loch is almost stoped by two islands of Argyllshire's share on the Inner Hebrides – Luing and Shuna.
At the mouth of the loch is a tiny fishing village, Craobh Haven, which has a good, sheltered harbour, a marina and the remais of fort on the island incorporated into the harbour mouth.
At the head of the loch is Melfort
