Great Holcombe is a hamlet in sitting beside Newington in the south-east of Oxfordshire, on the east side of the River Thame in its last miles before reaching the Thames to the south, about a mile east of Drayton St Leonard and four and a half miles north of Wallingford, the latter across the Thames in Berkshire.
