The Rutland flag is the proposed flag of the county of Rutland. It has not yet been registered with the Flag Institute.[1]

Design

The flag, designed by Philip Tibbetts, features the golden horseshoe long associated with the county, which recalls the tradition of noble visitors donating a horseshoe. The sizable collection now hangs on the walls of Oakham Castle in the county.
