Cleish parish church

Cleish is a village and a parish in the south of Kinross-shire. The village stands on the northern boundary of the parish, near the left bank of Gairney Water, three miles south-west of the county town Kinross.

The parish is bounded to the north by Fossoway and Kinross, north-east by Portmoak, east by Ballingry, south by Beath and Dunfermline, west by Dunfermline, and north-west by Fossoway. Its greatest length from east to west is 6½ miles; its breadth from north to south varies between 1¼ and 2¼ miles; and its area is 6,214¾ acres, of which 14 are water.
