Stob nan Eighrach is a mountain of 1,932 feet standing at the point where three shires meet, namely Dunbartonshire to the south-west, Stirlingshire to the south-east and Perthshire to the north. It is at the northernmost point of Dunbartonshire. A thousand yards to the south is Stob nan Eighrach (2,011 feet).
The mountain's western slopes join those of its neighbouring mountains to tumble down sharply to the shore of the northernmost reach of Loch Lomond, opposite Ardlui.
