Kames Bay and the Kyles of Bute

Kames Bay indents the east coast of the Isle of Bute in Buteshire, to the north of Rothesay. It opens into the Kyles of Bute and looks out at Ardyn Point, on the Cowal area of Argyllshire. The village of Port Bannatyne extends itself around to the south shore of Kames Bay.

Just inland of the bay stands Kames Castle. In the bay is a small marina.
