Oaks Green is a village in Derbyshire, in the west of the county, just a mile north of the River Dove which marks the border of Staffordshire. The closest town is Uttoxeter, four miles to the west, in the latter county.

The village stands just north of the A50 trunk road, along the A515. There is a prison just outside the village, HM Prison Sudbury, named after the village of Sudbury, just the other side of the A50.
