Middle Handley is a village in north-eastern Derbyshire. It stands just south of the nearby village of Marsh Lane, south-west of Eckington, west of West Handley and about three miles south of Ridgeway.

History

Like other hamlets and villages in the area, during the 17th and 18th centuries the area was known for sickle smithing and farming.[1]

The parish church, St John The Baptist Church, stands in the centre of the village. It dates back to 1838.[2]
