The Walkham at Horrabridge
Near Sillapark

The River Walkham is a river of Devon whose source is on Dartmoor.

A short by picturesque river, the Walkham may be seen flowing under Merivale and Huckworthy Bridges, and lower down it reaches Horrabridge and soon after flows beneath the A386, the main road between Tavistock and Plymouth at a sharp bend, then enters a wooded valley.

About three miles below Horrabridge, by a footbridge on the West Devon Way, the Walkham joins the River Tavy.
