Willingham by Stow is a rural village in Lindsey, the northern part of Lincolnshire. The population of the civil parish (known as Willingham) at the 2011 census was 488. It is situated on the B1241, six miles south-east of Gainsborough and ten miles north-west of Lincoln. To the north is Kexby, to the south is Stow.

Community

Willingham village hall provides for organisations such as the Parish Council,[1] Women's Institute and the Scouts,[2] and for activities including drama, table tennis and yoga.[3]

The parish church is dedicated to St Helen.[4][5]

The two village pubs are The Half Moon[6] on High Street and The Fox and Hounds[7] on Gainsborough Road towards Kexby.

The nearest primary school is in Sturton by Stow. The village had a school from roughly 1818 until 1995.
