Lound is a village in Kesteven, the south-western part of Lincolnshire, about two and a half miles south-west of the town of Bourne.
At the time of Domesday Book of 1086, Lound consisted of 18 households, two mills, and a church.[1]
Earthworks of the deserted mediæval village of Bowthorpe are near the 17th-century Bowthorpe Park Farm.[2]
