The Ravernet River near Ravernet

The Ravernet River flows through the north of County Down, and is the most significant tributary of the River Lagan.

The river rises in a small lake known as the Long Lough and from there runs north-westwards. Eventually it passes beneath the M1 motorway and reaches the River Lagan at Ballintine, at the south edge of Lisburn.
