Storey Glacier
Storey Glacier is a glacier on the north-east side of Drygalski Fjord at the south-east end of South Georgia.
The glacier was named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee after Bryan Cecil Storey, a British Antarctic Survey geologist, 1974-79, who worked in the area, 1976-78.
Landsat ETM+ satellite imagery 2002 showed that the glacier had undergone considerable retreat and only fragments of the glacier remained.
