Herz Glacier is a glacier flowing south-east from the vicinity of Mount Paterson to the east coast of South Georgia. It is found to the north of Twitcher Glacier and ultimately it flow south-east into Iris Bay.

This glacier was mapped by the Second German Antarctic Expedition under Wilhelm Filchner, 1911–12,[1] and named after Admiral Hertz, Director of the Deutsche Seewarte (the German Naval Observatory). Filchner originally named it 'Herz-Gletscher'.

Landsat ETM+ satellite imagery 2002 showed that the glacier had undergone considerable retreat.
