Austin Glacier
The Austin Glacier is a glacier flowing north to Beckmann Fjord, which opens into the Bay of Isles, on the north coast of South Georgia.
The glacier was charted and probably named by Discovery Investigations in 1929-30: he name appears to be first used on a 1931 British Admiralty chart.
Satellite imagery in 2003 showed that the glacier had retreated to at least 50 yards from the shore of Beckman Fjord.
