Culkein Bay

The Bay of Culkein is a small bay indenting the north-east-coast of the peninsula known as Stoer Head. At the head of the bay stands Culkein, otherwise known as 'Culkein Stoer', on a small, sandy beach.

The northern headland of the bay is Rubh' an Dùnain, where a natural arch stands in the sea.

The Bay of Culkein forms a minor bay within the larger bay formed between Stoer Head and Oldany Island to the west.
