Overton is a tiny village on the south coast of the Gower Peninsula in the west of Glamorgan. It is immediately west of Port Eynon.

The village stands by the shore of a shallow, rocky inlet onto the Bristol Channel known as 'Overton Mere' which drains dry at low tide.
