The Ash passing by the back gardens of Hertfordshire

The River Ash is a small river in eastern Hertfordshire which is a tributary of the River Lea.

The river rises near the village of Brent Pelham in northern Hertfordshire and flows through The Hadhams (Little, Ford and Much), Widford, Wareside, until it reaches the River Lea near Stanstead Abbots.

The total length of the river is 16 miles.
