Milton is a hamlet in southern Westmorland, in the parish of Preston Patrick, caught between the M6 motorway Junction 36, the A590 trunk road and the Peasey Beck.

The mills from which the hamlet first took its name were on the river, now outside the hamlet at a location known as 'Millness'. The Lancaster Canal cuts across perpendicularly to the beck to the north of Milton.
