Etterby is a village in Cumberland which has become merely a north-western suburb of Carlisle, on the northern side of the River Eden.[1] To the east is Belah.

The Redfern Inn was designed by British architect Harry Redfern.

A popular place that's well known for the quality of the houses, Etterby is a kind of private community, situated on the banks of the river Eden, it attracts many visitors/walkers/hikers to the area
