Broughton Cross is a hamlet in Cumberland, on the south side of the River Derwent, along the A66 Keswick to Workington road, once the main road and now a bypass.

The village is to be found three miles west of Cockermouth, south of Great Broughton (across the river) and beside Brigham.

Broughton Cross railway station opened on 28 April 1847 and closed on 2 March 1942.
