Boyton Cross is a hamlet in Essex, approximately half a mile from the village of Roxwell and sitting mainly along the A1060 road which runs from Bishop's Stortford to Chelmsford.

There hamler has a pub The Hare, and an Indian restaurant, The India Lounge, formerly The Cross Keys public house. Commercial premises include a gas works, sewer works, rubbish tip & quarry and a variety of farms and privately hired industrial units.
