Crailinghall is a little village near Oxnam in Roxburghshire, and three miles east of Jedburgh.

The village is close to the route of two long-distance walking routes: the St Cuthbert's Way and the Roman Heritage Way. It is also on the course of Dere Street, a Roman road which runs from Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland to the Firth of Forth, and just south and east of Crailinghall.
