St Brides Major is a village and parish in Glamorgan. The parish, which also includes Ogmore-by-Sea and Southerndown has a population of 2,009.[1]

The village is the location of St Bridget's parish church, the Fox & Hounds and the Farmer's Arms pubs, Pitcot Pool and St Brides Primary School.

The village is located approximately a mile and a half from the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. It is connected by bus to the nearby towns of Llantwit Major and Bridgend.
