Kirkheaton is a village in the West Riding of Yorkshire, three miles north-east of Huddersfield. It has a recorded population of 4,209 in 2011 when counted together with Upper Heaton.

Kirkheaton has a primary school, Kirkheaton Primary School, on New Road.
