The Dye Water at Longformacus

The Dye Water is a river of 12½ miles in the Lammermuir Hills of Berwickshire. It rises in the Hope Hills close to the northern edge of the county, by north east of Seenes Law, then flows east to Longformacus.

The last reach of the Dye Water takes it to the Whiteadder Water.

About the river

The Sir Walter Scott Way and the Southern Upland Way long distance footpaths pass through Longformacus.
