Glenballyemon
Glenballyemon is one of the nine Glens of Antrim, in County Antrim. Like all glens in that area, it was shaped during the Ice Age by giant glaciers.
This is not as distinct a glen as others, as it bears the Ballyemon River down from the hills to join the Glenaan River from its eponymous glen, the two creating the River Dall, which meets the sea at Cushendall.
County Antrim's highest mountain, Trostan stands at the head of both Glenballyemon and Glenaan, the rivers for each running from its slopes.
