The Almond at Larichlaura

The River Almond is a tributary of the River Tay, all in Perthshire. Its course is about 30 miles, most of it in the hills of that county.

The river rises in the hills to the south-east of Loch Tay, and flows eastwards through Glenalmond, and to the village of Almondbank. A little below the village, the Almond pours its waters into the River Tay, immediately north of Perth.
