Carn na Caim is a mountain of the Drumochter Hills on the border of Inverness-shire with Perthshire, which reaches a height of 3,087 feet at its summit, and so it qualifies as a Munro. It sits on a large summit plateau to the east of the Pass of Drumochter.
Ascents
The mountain is normally climbed in conjunction with A' Bhuidhneach Bheag, which is at the opposite end of the plateau. Carn na Caim itself is a large, rounded hill with little in the way of distinguishing features. The summit itself only just rises above the level of the plateau making it hard to find the true summit in misty conditions.
The prettiest aspects to the hill are the small corries which cut into the north slopes and sharp gullies that run down the western edge of the plateau.
