Camelsdale is a small village to the west of the village of Hammer, Sussex. It stands by the border with Surrey, opposite Shottermill in the latter county, across the brook which divides the shires at this point. The townscape tentatively spreads across the brook all the way to Haslemere.

The village’s church is St Paul’s, part of the parish of Lynchmere and Camelsdale in the Diocese of Chichester.
