Eastby is a tiny hamlet in the Yorkshire Dales, beside the village of Embsay, two miles north-east of Selby in the West Riding of Yorkshire.
Adjoining Eastby is a hamlet just as small, Embsay Kirk, where stands the latter village’s church.
