Mullach Coire Mhic Fhearchair is a mountain in Ross-shire, which reaches a height of 3,343 feet at its summit, and so it qualifies as a Munro.
This is a large, remote mountain rising to the north of Lochan Fada. The upper reaches of the hill are rich in quartzite giving the hill a remarkable appearance.
The summit is pyramidal with ridges running north, south and east. The northern ridge leads to adjoining Munro, Sgùrr Bàn by way of a high col. The southern ridge leads to subsidiary peak, Meall Garbh, before connecting with the other neighbouring Munro Beinn Tarsuinn to the west.
The eastern ridge follows round the rim of Coire Mhic Fhearchair which the Munro summit precariously overlooks. Most of these ridges have crags particularly those facing Coire Mhic Fhearchair. Many of these ridges offer scrambling opportunities.
These mountains require a long walk in. Kinlochewe to the south is widely used for beginning a climb of several of the peaks, and gives the option of cycling part of the way in however other routes are used including coming from Loch a Bhraoin.
