Newcastleton Forest is a planted forest in Roxburghshire, owned by the Forestry Commission. It extends over the fells between the Liddel Water to the north-west and the Kershope Burn, which forms the boundary with Northumberland, to the south-east.
The village of Newcastleton stands in Liddesdale, to the west of the forest.
The forested landscape extends unbroken beyond the Kershope, where the woodland is known as the Kershope Forest, and to the east is the Kielder Forest. To the north, across the Liddel Water it is met by the Wauchope Forest.
