Moresby Island is an island of Peros Banhos, a coral ring atoll in the British Indian Ocean Territory. The island is on the northern reefs of the atoll, and is itself the northernmost of the atoll's islands. It stands beside Île de la Passe to the west, on the same raised reef platform.
This is the only island of Peros Banhos usually chartered with an English name; Seacow Island appearing most frequently by the French 'Île Vache Marine'.
