Petite Soeur is a coral island of Peros Banhos, a coral ring atoll in the British Indian Ocean Territory. It stretches the reef along the western side of the atoll to the south of Grande Soeur.
To the south is a narrow sea passage, the Passe de Île Poule, across which lies Île Poule
